Uma Renegociação do Prazer Visual - As Propostas de Christine Gledhill e Teresa de Lauretis para uma Feminização do Cinema

In 1975, the history of film studies was marked by Laura Mulvey's blunt article, published in Screen magazine. The classic Hollywood cinema was accused of discriminating against female spectators in the movie theater and of creating narratives exclusively aimed at male voyeurism.
From that moment on, the gaze of the director, the main character and the spectator of a film would never be considered innocuous. Criticism of Mulvey's formulation in Visual pleasure and narrative cinema came from all sectors, including the openly feminist ones in which Teresa de Lauretis and Christine Gledhill are included.
