In The Nick of Time (Ein Augenblick in mir) is a film of times and moments, of interruptions and recovery of time, of irreversible minutes and recoverable instants. It is a thirteen minute short film where life and the possibility of death, lies and truth, the frontiers between alienation and art are concentrated.
It is a short film made of looks, driven by looks and mirrored in the looks of an adult and a child: two characters in the interrogation of a time. A Chaplinian exchange. They are two characters that establish a pact: the child's look transforms the adult's attitude. The child's look demands change, watches over the detail of attitudes, encourages art, proclaims life and does not allow itself to be deceived. The anguished face of the adult, in the close-up, clashes with the transparent and determined face of the child in the close-up. A more distant face but strengthened and constructed in the adult's gaze projected out of the field.
